Benjamin Nelson is vice president and general counsel with Hunt Investment Group. In this capacity, he is responsible for oversight and legal representation. Before joining Hunt, Nelson was a corporate securities partner with Hughes & Luce LLP, in Dallas, and before that, he worked with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California and Austin, Texas and with Fulbright & Jaworski in Dallas. While at these firms, he helped clients close more than 150 private equity, M&A, public offering or other financing transactions. Nelson graduated from Duke Law School with a JD and Stanford University with a BA in history.
